Mario Clone InsanityVersion 1.3
[Frozen Throne, 12 Human/AI, Custom]
May 16th, 2004?
Mario Clone Insanity is my favorite creation for WarCraft III. The story of the game is: "Oh no! Mario has been cloned! Which one is the
real Mario? Only the real Mario would be strong enough to collect the most coins. Prove to everyone that YOU are the real Mario
by collecting more coins than anyone else." The goal: "Move your Mario around the map and try to collect more coins than the
other players. Be sure to collect items from the Item Boxes. They will help you a lot. Kill monsters that get in your way.
Have the most coins when the timer runs out to win."
Gameplay:
- Getting Hit: Don't. For the most part, getting hit once gets you killed or shrunk. Avoid getting hit.
- Jumping: To jump, press J. Jumping allows you to see over objects, jump over objects, jump onto higher/lower terrain, and kill monsters/players easier. Mario will be invulnerable just after landing. This allows him to attack anything that may be waiting below him. This is to simulate landing and flattening enemies.
- Coins: Collect these!
- Item Boxes: Item boxes contain items or coins. To open them, jump into the air and immediately attack it. The box will die and something will fall to the ground under it.
- Shrinking: When Super Mario, Raccoon Mario, or Fireball Mario is hit, he will shrink down to regular Mario. This will leave him invulnerable for 1 second.
- Dying: If regular Mario dies, you will lose 2 to 5 coins and be randomly respawned onto the map. Mario is invulnerable for 1 second after spawning.
- Monsters: It is unwise to attack monsters by simply running up to them. If you do not possess fireballs, then the best way to kill a monster would be to jump into the air and then attack it. Monsters also generally spawn on the edge of the map. Stay away from the immediate edges. Monsters may drop a coin on death.
- Terrain: It is best to jump up every so often and when nearing higher terrain. This allows you to see what is around you better.
- Number of Players: The more players in the game, the more enemies and items that appear. Also makes the game time longer. Up to 12 players.
- Bowser: A Bowser monster will spawn once per game. It is recommended only going after him with Fireball or Raccoon Mario. He drops a lot of coins when he dies.
Items:
- Coin: Collect these! Whoever has the most when time expires wins the game.
- Mushroom: Mushrooms change regular Mario into Super Mario. If you are already super or possess fireballs, mushrooms will give you 1 coin.
- Flower: Flowers change regular, Raccoon, or super Mario into Fireball Mario. If you are already Fireball Mario, flowers will give you 1 coin. Fireball
Mario has a ranged attack! If you do not want the flower when you're Raccoon Mario, you can attack and destroy it.
- Star: Stars make you invulnerable for 30 seconds! Very useful.
- Feather: Feathers change regular Mario, Super Mario, and Fireball Mario into Raccoon Mario. Raccoon Mario stays in the air 1 second longer than the others. If you do not want the feather when you're Fireball Mario, you can attack and destroy it.
Bad Guys:
- Goomba: Slow melee ground unit. Jumping and then attacking is the best way to kill them.
- Koopa Troopa: Slow melee ground unit. Jumping and then attacking is the best way to kill them.
- Spikey: Slow melee ground unit. These guys are tougher than the other ground units. It is advised to only go after these with fireballs.
- Cloud: Fast air unit. Clouds cannot attack but are hard to catch. Clouds can drop Spikeys, which are bad. Spikeys can drop without warning, be wary of clouds.
- Bullet Shooter: Building with a ranged attack. These shoot bullets at you. Be careful when nearing these. Close in on them in a circular pattern and then jump attack them.
- Hammer Thrower: Slow ranged ground unit. Watch out for their hammers. Jump from a fair distance when closing in on them.
- Flower Shooter: Building with a ranged attack. These flowers shoot fireballs at you. Be careful not to mistake them for the good flowers.
- Bowser: Bowser is a tough boss monster. He spawns once per game and has a fast hammer throwing attack and a long ranged fire breath attack! Beware. Bowser can also jump. When he dies, he drops 8 to 15 coins.
Mario:
- Mario: Regular small Mario. Be careful! If Mario dies, you lose coins and get respawned.
- Super Mario: Bigger Mario. If Super Mario dies, he changes into regular Mario.
- Fireball Mario: Bigger Mario that can shoot Fireballs. This Mario is tough. If Fireball Mario dies, he changes into regular Mario.
- Raccoon Mario: Bigger Mario that can stay in the air a second longer than the others. If Raccoon Mario dies, he changes into regular Mario.
Warcraft BasketballVersion 1.5
[Frozen Throne, 10 Human/AI, Custom]

WarCraft Basketball is a WarCraft map which I have made to simulate a basketball game. You can pass, steal, block, shoot, rebound,
and box players out. You can select how many quarters you wish to play as well the ability to customize your team by
selecting what type of players you wish to have on your team.
Players to Choose for Your Team:
- Shooter: The shooter is very good at making shots. The rest of his skills are average.
- Stealer: The stealer is very good at stealing the ball when players try to pass it. The rest of his skills are average.
- Blocker: The blocker is great at tipping shots, making them three times more likely to miss. The blocker has slightly improved stealing abilities but a slightly worse shooting ability. The rest of his skills are average.
- Runner: The runner can run faster than all of the other units. This unit is good at getting rebounds and running across the court for a quick uncontested shot. The rest of her skills are average.
Gameplay:
- Select a player by moving a wisp onto the corresponding circle of power. Whichever unit is selected first by the team will be the unit that starts with the ball after the other team makes a shot or causes a turnover.
- Then select how many quarters you wish to play by moving the horse onto one of the quarter circle of powers. Once both teams have a horse on the same quarter, the amount of quarters for the game is set and the gates open allowing the players to head towards the court.
- Once all units from both teams meet in the center of the court, the game begins.
- Passing: If a unit has the ball, press B or push the Pass button and then select the target unit that you wish to pass the ball to. Try not to pass if you are crowded by opponents.
- Shooting: If a unit has the ball, press O or push the Shoot button whenever you feel like shooting the ball. The closer you are to the 'basket', the better your chances of making the shot. Try not to shoot if there are Blockers hovering around you.
- Blocking: To block a shot, move a unit next to the ball as it is being shot.
- Stealing: To steal a shot, move a unit next to the ball as it is being passed.
- Rebounding: When a shot misses, it automatically moves to a random location on that side of the court. Be the first unit to move next to the ball to grab it.
- Fouling: You may only foul the player who has the ball. This gives them two free throws. This should only be done if the game is nearing an end and your team is behind. If you foul more than 5 times, you are ejected from the game and the computer takes control of your players.
