Development v7 ( March 1st, 2018 )

Shortened the game name to just "Deities" (from "Deities of Creation").
Renamed "Creation Cards" to "Power Cards".
Deity tweaks and balance.
Replaced the cost of actions that could be performed with any Energy type with a new Discard mechanic.
Minor design changes.
Polished the War mechanic.

Development v6 ( August 5th, 2017 )

A significant amount of design upgrade went into this version.
The card drawing phase has been moved to the end of a player's turn.
Bombard has been reworked to kill Creatures first and then Terrain Tiles if there are no Creatures.
Deity re-balance.
Rule Clarity: Swapping Tiles with Skylar only swaps the Tile, not the Creatures on them.
Rule Clarity: The game is not set to end just because all 25 Tiles are filled. They must be filled at the end of the round or the game continues.
Only Element matching Deities get the movement bonus for Tier 2 Creatures.
Creatures must now be initially Populated onto Terrain Tiles that match their Element.
Moving Creatures now costs 2 Energy unless your Deity matches the Element of the Creature, then it is 1 Energy.
No need to choose a main Deity at the start. Keep both Deities hidden and then just choose one to reveal whenever you want. Only one is revealed as before.
Imbue now costs Energy equal to the Tier you are upgrading the Speceis to. Punish follows suit.
War has been completely reworked. There is a new strength system that determines which Creature wins. Either Creature can die now. All players can donate Energy to boost the strength of any Creature involved in a war.

Development v5 ( May 31st, 2017 )

Base player hand returned to 5.
A Tie-Breaker rule was added to make ties less likely.
The game is now set to end if all 25 board spaces are filled with Terrain Tiles. The round still finishes with all players having one turn.
There are now 7 Species in the game, one matching each Element.
Attributes and their cards have been removed and replaced with a Species Tier system.
Most Creation Cards that performed a special action have been removed in favor of having Deities performing the actions.
Deities have been reworked. Each Deity now has 2 skills, a free one and one that costs Energy to perform.
Circle Shards have been removed. Each player will now just receive two Deities and will get to choose which Deity is their main one. The second will be their second Element.
War costs are now 1 per Tier of the defending Creature with a cost reduction if attacking with multiple Creatures on the same Tile.
Colored gems have been added to keep track of the Species Tiers and final scoring.
The Game Board layout was redesigned to allow space for a Species Tier tracker and a final scoring area.
The game box is now slightly smaller and cheaper.

Development v4 ( March 15th, 2017 )

Base player hand changed to 6.
At the start of their turn, players now draw until they have 6 cards.
Players never have to discard at end of turn (although can if they don't want some cards).
Removed Tier 3 tiles and set the maximum number of Terrain Tiles of a single element to 13.
Tier 1 tiles now oppose other tiles.
Redesigned Attributes and reduced the number down to 12 total. Attributes are neutral and can be used by any player and then assigned an element once played.
War now costs 1 energy + 1 for each attribute on the Species.
Redid many of the Creation Cards to streamline the game and added more energy opporunities.
Rebalanced the Deities, placed them on larger cards and reduced the total number of Deities to 14.
The second element of Deities will now be drawn at random from Circle Shards. The second element will always be kept secret.

Development v3 ( January 20th, 2017 )

Rebalanced the Deity Cards and redesigned the backs of them to list the Universal Actions players can perform.
Redesigned the game board to improve the artwork slightly and shrink the size of the squares to better match the Terrain Tiles.
Removed the new 8x8 square mat introduced in v2
Redesigned the Attribute Cards and rebalanced them for this version.
Redesigned the Creation Cards and rebalanced them for this version.
Reduced the maximum end-of-turn hand limit from 7 to 5.
Redid the rules Manual.
Redesigned the game box.

Development v2 ( December 3rd, 2016 )

Turned the following actions into "Universal Actions": Terraform, Populate, Move, War and Imbue. These cards have been removed from the Creation deck.
Created an 8x8 square mat to inform players about the new Universal Actions and include a place to put the Creation deck.
Reduced the maximum number of Terrain Tiles of a single element from 24 to 17.
Remade the Attributes and removed them from the regular Creation deck. These Attributes can now be applied at any time with the Imbue action.
Enlarged the Creation Cards to regular poker sized cards.
Designed seperate artwork for the backs of each deck of cards.
Redid the rules Manual.
