Frontyard Brawl

Dreamt September 15th, 2005





I went to my Grandma's house and went out into the backyard. Part of the backyard was
flooded with icy cold water. There was some guy in the backyard with me. After awhile
we notice something in the water that had apparently fallen off of a small boat that
was nearby. We go into the water to retrieve the item. I make a comment about how the
rest of the backyard looks like an overgrown jungle. 

Later on I go back inside of the house and my Grandma is there. She frantically
announces that we have to leave but before we can go the phone rings. I answer the
phone and my mom is on the other end. Just then some crazy guy bursts into the house
and threatens to hurt us. I'm told over the phone to press several buttons in order
to stop the guy. I press the buttons and the guy vanishes into hex digits. 

My Grandma wants to leave before the guy comes back. I want to stay and fight. I decide
to call the police and then go out front to wait for them. Soon enough the crazy bad
guy returns and wants to fight me. Before he can attack me another fighter showed up
(who may have been with the police) and beat up the bad guy. After the bad guy is
beaten up I walk over to him and take a few cheap shots at him before he is taken away.

I stay out in the front yard and as time passes more and more people start to wander
around the street. EVeryone was a fighter and looking for an opponent to challenge. I
stay close to the house and just watch everyone fight for awhile. Nobody ever comes
over to fight me. 

After awhile some guy challenges an oriental woman to a fight. They each have a staff
as a weapon and they fight for a long time. They seem to be evenly matched and neither
of them is able to get an advantage over the other. A crowd of people gathers around
them to watch them fight. At one point someone in the crowd makes a comment that causes
the guy to make a faulty move. The oriental woman finally gets the upperhand and
defeats him. She then forces the man into her service and orders him to protect her
giant panda bear who is apparently her pet.

Soon enough a bunch of fighters find the panda and beat it up before the man can get
over to protect it. As punishment the oriental woman kills the man. She then goes off
to rest somewhere and watch everyone else fight.
